EU Council President: We Will do Our Best to give Georgia Access to Vaccine Soon

According to the President of the European Council Charles Michel, everything will be done to give Georgia access to the coronavirus vaccine soon.

According to him, Europe still shows strong solidarity with Georgia.

"We have mobilized about 400 million euros to overcome the crisis. Vaccination is the main challenge at the moment. The European Union is the main donor of the Covax platform. I hope there will be a distribution of vaccines in this country as well.Together with the World Health Organization, we will do everything possible to ensure that Georgia has access to vaccine doses soon," Charles Michel said at a briefing at the Presidential Administration.
