Eldar Shengelaia's New Film to be Screened in National Archive Film Theater

The short film "Well" is an adaptation of the novel "Well" written by Rezo Cheishvili.

As Eldar Shengelaia declared, he had a longstanding friendship with Rezo Cheishvili. As film director said, he thinks, that the film succeed.

„We made "Samanishvilis Dedinatsvali" and "Blue Mountains" with Rezo Cheishvili. We also wanted to shoot something else, but Rezo passed away. Therefore, I decided to make the film based on this novel. Everyone praised me and maybe it's a good movie.", stated Eldar Shengelaia.

The film is the winner project in the competition of short film organized by the National Film Center. The film is financially supported by the Public Broadcasting of Georgia.

The absurd comedy of Eldar Shengelaia will be premiered on the First Channel of Georgia in February, 2020.
