Driving Test Moves to the Streets Starting from April 2022

Passing a driving test to obtain a driver's license will be required on the streets beginning in April 2022. The Traffic Law was recently amended by Parliament.

In particular, with the change, from April 25, 2022, it will be mandatory to pass the driving test in real conditions.

There are changes for the registration of mopeds. According to the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Alexander Darakhvelidze, the registration of mopeds will become mandatory from March 28, 2022, and therefore, it will be necessary to have a driver's license, before that this process will be voluntary.
