Dea Kulumbegashvili's Film "Beginning" on International Film Festival Rotterdam

Dea Kulumbegashvili's film "Beginning" will be screened at Rotterdam International Film Festival. The film is presented in the section Limelight, which unites distinctive films owning international awards.

The screening of Beginning will be held on February 4th and it will be available online for 72 hours. 

This is the debut full-length film of Dea Kulumbegashvili. 

The film tells the story of a group of Jehova's Witnesses, who are being attacked by an extremist group in the sleeping provincial town. Yana is the wife of the leader of Jehova's witnesses. Her familiar world is slowly collapsing in the midst of the conflict. Yana's inner resentment grows as she begins to analyze her own desires.
