Bolnisi and Village Ratchisubani to be Put under Lockdown

As governor of Kvemo Kartli, Shota Rekhviashvili stated, they isolated inhabitants of Kazreti and village Balichi from Bolnisi municipality center, since they see the risks of the further virus spreading.

"Coronavirus cases are growing rapidly in Bolnisi Municipality. From today, in consequence, we take appropriate measures. The process of putting municipality center Bolnisi and Ratchisubani under lockdown already started.", declared Rekhviashvili.

As he added, the contacts of newly infected are being ascertained.

"The contacts are being identified, indeed. We have taken every mean for people to be in strict quarantine zone and self-isolation, perhaps, as we see, the virus continues spreading. I want to warn people once more, that if they won't stay at home, we will not be able to control the situation and the restrictions will turn severe."

Because of the risks, town Kazreti and village Balitchi are put under lockdown and reported as strict quarantine zones.
