Airline Tickets Between Ukraine and Georgia May Increase by $2

The Ukrainian Government drafted the document,  Verkhovna Rada confirmed it and it is now up the president to sign it. Therefore, passengers will have to pay an additional fee for transportation in the airports of Ukraine. This will be automatically reflected in the ticket's price.

The aviation tax will be paid by the passenger on domestic flights within $0.5, while the tax on international flights is set at 2 dollars. Children under 2 years of age and transit passengers are exempt from the tax.

Before the pandemic of COVID-19, 4 air companies were operating regular flights between Georgia and Ukraine: Georgian Airways, SkyUp Airlines, FlyUIA, and YanAir Airlines.
