ADVAN’s Campaign for Reckless Shortlisted at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival!

"The wind didn't bring it, so why let the wind take it away?" — This is the core message of Reckless clothing brand's campaign for May 26, created by the ADVAN agency. Recently, the Berlin Fashion Film Festival (BFFF) announced its finalists, and ADVAN's work for Reckless has made the cut.

The Berlin Fashion Film Festival, first launched in 2012, has evolved into a prestigious event at the intersection of fashion and film. Each year, it brings together filmmakers, brands, and industry experts from around the world. The festival has showcased over 10,000 works from more than 30 countries and features screenings, masterclasses, networking events, and an awards ceremony. This year’s event is set for November 13-15.

“We’re competing with major brands like BVLGARI, Dior, Adidas, and Ralph Lauren, alongside renowned production companies and agencies like Division, Spoa, IZZ, and Vanda Production,” said ADVAN co-founder and director Ketevan Jaoshvili. “It’s an honor to be part of this.”

How Did ADVAN’s Work Get Noticed?

After completing the video for Reckless, ADVAN began searching for festivals to submit their project. "When we found BFFF, we almost didn’t apply because it seemed so out of reach," Ketevan shared. “We actually missed the deadline by a day but emailed the organizers, asking for an exception. They graciously allowed us to submit, and the next day we received positive feedback, praising the meaningful nature of our project.”

Shortlisted in Two Categories

The campaign was submitted in two categories and made the shortlist in both. "We’re contenders in Best Cinematography and shortlisted in Script/Storytelling,” Ketevan explained. “Being recognized for a theme that highlights our country’s core value — freedom — means the world to us.”

Looking Ahead to the Festival

ADVAN’s team will be in Berlin on November 13, eagerly awaiting the screening of their work. “Just being shortlisted is beyond our expectations. We’re looking forward to meeting incredible people and forming new connections that could lead to future projects,” Ketevan said.

The winners will be announced on November 15, but for ADVAN, the journey and recognition are already a victory worth celebrating.
