Academic Year in Universities Starts on October 19

The decision to start an academic year in higher education institutions will not be reconsidered, - the Prime Minister, Giorgi Gakharia, said after the government session.

According to him, the Minister of Education has been instructed to follow all the recommendations in the system so that the study process doesn't terminate.

"According to our plan, the study in higher education institutions should have been started from October 19 and this decision remains in force. Some can continue studying online, but there are laboratory and practical training that must be held in classrooms and they can start studying normally," - said Giorgi Gakharia.
