53,274 Citizens of Georgia to Register So Far on Portal to Go Abroad for Work
According to the information provided by the Employment Agency of Georgia, "53,274 people are already registered on the portal of temporary employment registration, of which 35,121 have filled the application "Temporary Employment in Germany".
The registration for legal employment in Germany started on February 15th. The citizens of Georgia will be able to work in Germany for three months. The seasonal employments start in Germany from April 1st.

A temporary seasonal employment program is implemented within the framework of an agreement between Georgia and Germany.
The jobseeker must meet the following requirements:
• Must be a citizen of Georgia;
• Age: 18 to 60 years;
• Has not traveled to Schengen area countries for 3 months before leaving for Germany;
• Work experience and motivation for harvesting;
• Absence of any reason, that restricts entering the country;
• Basic communicating skills in German or English. The language requirement is determined by the employer.
It is also worth mentioning, that seasonal employment involves seasonal harvesting.
The duration of employment is from 1 to 3 months. Working hours are 8-10 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.
The minimal wage is 9.50 euros per hour, from which taxes, food, and accommodation expenses are deducted.
