25 Medical Authorities are Ready to Assist Patients

"In the case of necessity, 25 medical authorities are ready to assist patients infected with the coronavirus.", noted deputy of the Ministry of Healthcare, Tamar Gabunia.

As she defined, the medical institutions already appealed to the Ministry of Healthcare for fast tests registration. But, as the country does not need it yet, decision on this matter is not made.

"Today, we already have a list of 25 medical authorities. The plan of complete mobilization is already elaborated. Our attitude towards maintaining defected cases is to transfer the patients in the chosen clinic and assist them on-site, to avoid the risks, which are related to internal spread in medical institutions. Today, we have planned the meeting with the head of clinics and PM, to discuss the matters of the complete scheme. We also mobilized first healthcare. Our request would be, that before we call 112, we should have an online consultation with our family doctor.", declared Tamar Gabunia.
