What Changes in Dona?! – Batumi Bakeshop Resumes Operation after Coronavirus Outbreak

After a month break, Batumi’s one of the most popular bakeshops DONA resumed operation on October 5. As the company founder and owner Tamila Bezhanidze told Business Partner, DONA has introduced new regulations and the inflow of visitors will be controlled.

“No more than 5 visitors will be admitted to the hall. Furthermore, we will continue following the safety norms, I mean thermal screening for incoming visitors and our staff. We have returned absolutely all employees and they work in shifts, as previously”, Tamila Bezhanidze noted.

The DONA founder has not unveiled the number of losses, but she unveiled her expectations and stressed that the company incomes are expected to decline amid the current pandemic. “The flow of clients is expected to be lower compared to early periods because the city itself has turned inactive”, Tamila Bezhanidze noted and added that the bakeshop will work with small assortments and the demand will determine the future trends. As reported, DONA café-bakeshop was closed on August 31, after its seller-consultant was found infected. One of the company owners was also found later infected.
