"Sales in February-May 2022 are decreased by almost 70% compared to the same period last year.", noted Levan Pirtskhalava, the director of "Kokhi.ge".

The reason behind the drop in sales is the invasion of Russia to Ukraine. 

"We had negotiations with a few large companies in February-May. They wanted to build several dozen cottages and a tourist zone. Negotiations were going on, but after the war started, they no longer took place. Potential customers named the war as the main reason for suspending negotiations since due to the uncertain situation they did not know what the current events in Ukraine would lead to."

As he further noted, the demand for wooden cottages under the brand Kokhi.ge has increased again since May.
