UNDP Carries out Recreational Fishing Infrastructure Works in Poti

The regional meeting was held in Poti, the conference hall of the State Hydrographic Service of Georgia, within the frameworks of UNDP's program "Fostering Regional and Local Development in Georgia" - Phase 2. 

Within the frameworks of the UNDP program, in cooperation with the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure in Georgia, fishing infrastructure works were carried out on Martotskala lake in Poti. The project is relevant in tourism development and recreational fishing.

Within the frameworks of the UNDP program, 6 projects are currently implemented, which are as follows:

1. Setting up fishing infrastructure on Martotskala lake in Poti;

2. Arranging ethnocenter in Zugdidi;

3. Building up ropes park in Senaki;

4. Martvili Agri market project;

5. Setting up trading space in the village of Kolobani, Abasha;

6. Constructing rock climbing walls in Mestia.
