Turkey's Leading Healthcare Group Medicana Expands into Georgia
Turkish healthcare company, Medicana Health Group, has officially launched a representative office in Tbilisi, marking a significant entry into the Georgian market, Turkish media outlets report.
Medimagazin highlights that the newly established office will offer consultations for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide array of health conditions.
The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of officials from the Turkish Embassy, Medicana's Medical Director Dr. Necip Kozali, Medicana-affiliated medical professionals, and notable figures from Georgia's healthcare industry.
Dr. Kozali, at the event, emphasized the desire to deepen the historical and cultural connections between Georgia and Turkey through enhanced healthcare collaborations and ambitious projects. He acknowledged the high demand for medical services in Turkey among Georgians, expressing Medicana's commitment to providing top-tier medical care to its patients.
With a network of 15 hospitals and a workforce of approximately 12,000, Medicana Health Group operates across major Turkish cities including Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir. Since its inception in 1992, Medicana has been at the forefront of Turkey's private healthcare sector, attracting a significant number of international patients with its high-quality services. Additionally, the group is investing in educational initiatives through the Medicana Education Group, aiming to lead in the educational domain within Turkey.
