The State Plans to Train 5,000 IT Specialists this Year
The state plans to train 5,000 people this year as part of a training program for IT specialists.
Irakli Gharibashvili stated about it during the parliamentary speech. The Prime Minister also spoke about the financing of startups by the state.
"We started a project with the World Bank and have invested GEL 26 million in Georgian startups so far. Last year, these startups attracted more than GEL 300 million investment. This is a real result when the state helps businesses and startups properly. Training is underway and this year we want to start training 5,000 IT specialists. We need to increase the scale even more in the future," Gharibashvili said.
