Tchrebalo Wine Cellar Opens Restaurant in Ratcha
Tchrebalo Wine Cellar opened a restaurant in Ratcha. According to the co-founder of the restaurant, Salome Lekishvili, the restaurant has been operating for two weeks and has already hosted about 1,200 guests.
"The restaurant is founded by only three people. Co-founders are Sofo Lekishvili and Mirian Chighvaria. Until now, it existed as a wine factory, which we renovated and opened a tourist cellar and a restaurant. The project was implemented with the help of a grant from the USAID Economic Security Program. Through this, we managed to introduce a new direction, which involves a tourist cellar, a restaurant, conference and training spaces. Along with them. we also have a space for local entrepreneurs to be able to sell their production.", noted Salome Lekishvili.
A total of 700,000 GEL was invested in the arrangement of the wine factory, cellar, and restaurant.
One of the reasons for opening the restaurant in Ratcha was to introduce and popularize Ratchvelian cuisine.
"We have Georgian cuisine on the menu along with old Ratchvelian dishes which we recently discovered."
Tchrebalo Wine Cellar manufactures 7 types of wine and Chacha. The company has been exporting its products to the US and the Baltic States since 2021.
