Startups with 100,000 GEL Grant to Reveal on September 28

The final stage of the co-financing grant program of Georgia's Innovation and Technology Agency has started in Batumi Technopark. Within three days, the finalist startups will present their projects to the Investment Committee.

The juries are as follows:

  Marvin Liao (founder of 500 startups flagship accelerator in San Francisco and investor in 400+ companies),

  •  Marvin Liao - investor, mentor, and advisor. He is also a founder of 500 startups flagship accelerator in San Francisco and investor in 400+ companies)
  • Jonathan Tower - a General Partner at Catapult, a global venture capital platform based in Silicon Valley. Jonathan has deployed more than $220mm in more than two dozen companies across three core investment themes: consumer (eCommerce, marketplaces), enterprise (software, services), and frontier technologies (AI/data/robotics, etc).

  • Tim Vager -  Tim has spent 10+ years creating startup partnerships and innovation programs for Fortune 500 companies and the government. His most recent role was helping stand up Accenture's Ventures and Open Innovation group. He is an active angel investor, having backed 20+ startups and launched the Momentum Engine investing syndicate.
  • Asher Siddiqui - Asher Siddiqui is an investor, mentor, and advisor to management teams, boards, family offices, private equity, and venture capital firms globally. Asher is currently an Advisor to ADFG (Abu Dhabi Financial Group) on Technology Investments.
  • Giorgi Bachiashvili - a serial entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and early crypto investor who has founded and backed numerous startups in tech, fin-tech, blockchain, and hemp industries. In 2014 he established Mission Gate – a venture capital firm investing globally in angel and A/B stage projects.

The winners of co-financing innovation grant will be revealed on September 28th, and each one of them will receive 100,000 GEL.
