Sewing Company Anabechdi Opens New Enterprise in Samtredia with an Investment of ₾10 Million

Sewing company "Anabechdi" will open a new enterprise in Samtredia in August 2022. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to employ 500 new staff, who will be retrained by "Anabechdi" on its own, in the training space allocated at the facility.

As the senior manager of the company, Giorgi Barnabishvili, told "Business Partner", the new facility is designed for export products, and various models of international brands of European origin will be sewn.

"The premises of the existing enterprise in Samtredia are the property of "Anabechdi". At this stage, internal repair work and production equipment are being arranged. The total volume of the existing workspace is 3000 square meters, and the total area, where it is planned to expand the production workspace in the next years, is 20,000 sq. m.

Sewing of foreign branded clothes (jackets, shirts, pants, shirts, etc.) will be added to our main direction. As for private orders, the imprint, due to its scale, remains a mass production and will provide services to corporate customers. As for retail sales, in parallel with the launch of the mentioned project, we are planning to open stores in big cities of the country for individuals and legal entities, where they will be able to purchase ready-made products on the spot," says Giorgi Barnabishvili.

The investment cost of the project is about 10 million GEL, which is private and does not consist of invested capital. The project implementation is supported by the loan interest subsidization program "Produce in Georgia".
