Sartichala Vineyard Management Plans to Export its Production
Georgia will try to fully replace imported grapes and export local products. The company Sartichala Vineyard Management has been actively working in this direction.
The company says that growing table grapes requires a completely different technology, and there was no experience of its production in Georgia until now. The company involved Italian experts in the production process for this reason.
"We aim at developing the production of table grapes in Georgia in such a way that the country is no longer dependent on imports by 90%. Moreover, we intend to export the grapes produced by us to neighboring countries, as well as to the Gulf and Baltic countries. It will be possible to achieve these goals from next year. We also have a cold storage farm, so we can store products and supply table grapes to the local population even in the off-season.", noted the founder and the director of Sartichala Vineyard Management.
