Restrictions will be Disastrous for Hotels - Snow Plaza Bakuriani

Snow Plaza Bakuriani declares, that the restrictions imposed by the government on ski resorts will be disastrous for hotels. 

"We can not imagine how can we act and what steps are necessary to take in order to survive. We have a great loss and this information is disastrous for us. Many hotels will be closed and won't be able to reopen next season as we presume. During the period, which is the peak of our work, with which we manage to exist throughout the year, we must be closed. 

As for the information, that some of the hotels may be renewed as COVID-hotels, it will not be possible in our case, since our hotels are apartment-type.", Snow Plaza Bakurian declared.

The Prime Minister freed the tourism sector from property taxes. As Snow Plaza Bakuriani noted, this step was a well-made decision, but not enough.

"We should be exempted from not only property taxes but also every type of taxes. Although this too won't be enough since we already are not able to pay salaries, we have our employees on unpaid leave.", the hotel says.
