Qooqy Bakery to Open Second Store in Tbilisi

Biscuits confectionery store Qooqy Bakery opened a month ago and now plans to expand the network by opening another store in Tbilisi by the end of 2021. Furthermore, Qooqy Bakery also plans to open brand stores in regions too.

In 2022, the company will primarily expand the network in Tbilisi, while in 2023 the company will start expanding the network to regional cities too. As the company co-founder Nikoloz Ghvaberidze told Business Partner, the store at Vazha-Pshavela Avenue N7 operates actively and successfully. The company expects the number of clients to rise in autumn.

The project was supported by the Enterprise Georgia state program and investments amounted to GEL 400,000, Nikoloz Ghvaberidze said. At this stage, Qooqy Bakery produces approximately 50 varieties of pastry products, including biscuits. The company plans to further diversity production, including, to develop unique and special sandwich lines. Qooqy Bakery will also launch online sales.
