Production of Georgian Brand Rko to Sell in France

Handwoven products in Georgia will be sold in France, Great Britain, Germany, China, Korea, and Denmark.

According to the co-founder of the company Rko, Tamar Mesarkishvili, along with other countries, Le Petit Souk expressed the interest in Georgian production.

Rko participated at an exhibition in France within the frameworks of Enterprise Georgia in 2019.

"I, my sister, and our friend started this business in 2016. Initially, we were making only hats and we had several knitters. We did not need to invest, because we managed to start all this at our own expense. After one year, we managed to open a show-room and we have a store. We are not going to expand our business in Georgia yet since we are working on exports. Apart from France, our production is exported to Great Britain, Germany, China, Korea, and Denmark.

We employ women, who work from home. We have up to 50 employees, who make our production with our own materials, management at home. We have to produce about 2,000 pieces of products a year for export, and we received a full 2,000 pieces of orders from France, which resulted in a total of 200 kg.", noted the co-founder.

Currently, Rko produces not only hats, but also cardigans, scarves, shorts, etc. for children from zero months to 7 years.
