Produce in Georgia Offers Georgian Exporters Participation in 15 Major World Exhibitions in 2023
At the international exhibition FOOD INGREDIENTS EUROPE in Paris, France, with the support of the "Produce in Georgia" agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, the Georgian pavilion is functioning, where seven Georgian companies have presented their products.
They are mainly producers of nuts, walnuts, almonds, processed fruits and vegetables and natural juices. The Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Irakli Nadareishvili, visited the Georgian pavilion at the prestigious international exhibition.
"The priority of our ministry is to support local exports. For this, on the instructions of the government, through the "Make in Georgia" agency, we have developed mechanisms to support exporters, to find key markets for them, to establish themselves there and, in general, to diversify the export geography. Only in 2023, "Produce in Georgia" offers Georgian exporters participation in 15 major world exhibitions. "We have selected 7 large manufacturers of food ingredients for the Paris exhibition, and we hope that this exhibition will become a basis for them to find new business partners and, accordingly, to enter new markets," said the deputy minister.
In addition to promoting participation in international exhibitions and organizing trade missions, the Ministry and the "Make in Georgia" agency offer potential exporters to participate in the export stimulation program, which involves providing technical assistance to exporters, including the elimination of export-obstructing factors in beneficiary companies and the introduction of export-stimulating mechanisms. They help diversify export markets, products and services, identify sectors and products with high export potential and encourage international sales.
