Preferences to Run for Business Sector in Coming Months

On November 26, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia introduced a 2-month plan of restrictions amid the deteriorating epidemiological situation.

We have already published the full list of restrictions that will run from November 28 to February 2.

Now, we introduce the preferences that will run for the business sector for the coming months.

1. The Government will subsidize the income tax by GEL 750 for employees taking salaries of around GEL 1500. This preference was set in March for a period of 6 months, but now this preference will be extended for another 6 months.
2. Property tax will be suspended for the tourism sector actors throughout 2021.
3. The Government will subsidize loan interests for 6 months to all restaurants or companies with bank loan liabilities.
