North Kazbegi: The Region Has Become Attractive for Private Investments

The hotel North Kazbegi already has bookings from Dubai, Kuwait, and Germany.

However, as a result of the Russia-Ukraine war, quite a lot of reservations were canceled from Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus.

"The amount of tourists in our hotel is not the same as it was before the pandemic. As far as I know, the airline Wizz Air also has a problem, the frequency of flights is reduced. Due to this, for example, people from Poland can not come.", noted the founder of the hotel Gocha Khaikashvili.

According to him, the cost of accommodation in a 2-room hotel will be 100 GEL in July and August. Gocha Khaikashvili also mentioned that unlike in recent years, Kazbegi has become quite attractive for private investments: a number of restaurants and food outlets were opened. The founder of the hotel "North Kazbegi" also said that he is considering business expansion by 2023.
