Nitex Starts to Build New Sewing Factory
Sewing factory Nitex will start construction of a new enterprise in Tbilisi in March this year. The price amount of the investment is around 3-4 million dollars and from 2023 at least 400 people will be employed in the new sewing shop.
According to the executive director of Nitex, Elizbar Managadze, the increase in production will lead to a 400% increase in turnover, which will allow the company to capture new export markets from 2023.
Initially, the company will only export uniforms to Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Azerbaijan. However, along with this, Nitex will have a premium clothing line for men and women.
Nitex was founded in 1970 and has been sewing uniforms since 2007.
