Metro Holding Company to Invest $150 Million in Building 242-Meter Skyscraper in Batumi
A new skyscraper will be built in Batumi, Adjara. A Tower of 242 meters in height will be built by Georgia-Chinese Investments nearby the House of Justice in the center of Batumi.
The project is implemented by Metro Holding company. As noted by the company director Raul Kakhadze, the complex will comprise a business center, shopping mall, apartments. The Tower will also integrate the Ritz Carlton hotel, Raul Kakhadze added.
“Soon the international brand will submit its consent to enter the Georgian market”, Raul Kakhadze said. The company is also waiting to get a due permit from Batumi City Hall, he added. The project’s investment value is $150 million. The construction works will end in 3 years. As reported, Metro Holding was founded by Turkish national Galif Ozturk, currently, a citizen of Georgia. Ozturk is considered to be one of the biggest investors in Adjara. Since 2012, he has implemented many investment projects in the region’s tourism, transport, and finance sectors.
