Mamiseuli Marani Exports 500 Bottles of Tavkveri to France
Small family winery "Mamiseuli Marani" located in Bolnisi recently exported 500 bottles of Tavkveri to France.
According to the founder of "Mamiseuli Marani", Tamar Mosiashvili the interest in the small family winery is growing and the company plans to export wine to England this summer.
"We are now in the process of entering several local wine shops and restaurants in Georgia. In addition, we exported 500 bottles of Tavkveri to France. We have additional suggestions, we will export wine to England this summer. Exports are a guarantee of stability for a small winery, because during the pandemic, as it turned out, full reliance on tourism is risky.", noted winemaker, Tamar Mosiashvili.
The annual production of "Mamiseuli Marani" is 2,000 bottles of wine. The company's vineyards are located in Bolnisi, in the village of Khatisopeli. The small cellar works mainly on wild Rkatsiteli and Tavkveri varieties.
