"It's rewarding to see my effort and desire to learn being recognized," says "Agrosphere" scholarship recipient
Agrosphere, renowned for importing innovative agricultural products and machinery, continues its scholarship and internship programs for the third year in partnership with the Georgian Agrarian University.
The goal is to promote agriculture, attract more young people to the field, and nurture skilled professionals.
This year, Agrosphere has expanded its program, awarding scholarships to six outstanding third and fourth-year students. These scholars will have several months of practical internships at the company’s service centers, demonstration greenhouse, vineyard, and in the production of certified wheat seed material, among other opportunities.
In our series of interviews with Agrosphere scholars, we speak with Nia Suladze, a fourth-year agronomy student at the Georgian Agrarian University.
Nia, how did you first learn about the Agrosphere scholarship, and were you already familiar with the company's activities?
I've known about Agrosphere through the annual employment forums at the university, and they also supply our agronomy projects with high-quality seed materials and other essentials. After seeing a fellow student benefit from the scholarship, I was inspired to apply.
Why do you think programs like this are important for young people?
Such programs motivate students to engage deeply with their studies, recognizing and rewarding their hard work and thirst for knowledge. They also offer invaluable opportunities.
