Hotel and Tourism Business School Vatel to Receive Students from Spring

Vatel, the first tourism higher education institution in Georgia, will receive first students in the spring.

According to the CEO of Block Group, Tornike Janashvili, at the initial stage, professional training is planned which will serve as Vatel's certification course.

Any citizen from the age of 16 will have the opportunity to take 3, 6, or 12-month courses. Study costs are not yet determined.

"It will be an employment model that will promote students to work in international hotels. The training is intended for those who want to be employed in this field, or already are, but want to make positive progress.”, noted Tornike Janashvili.

Once the school receives authorization from the Ministry of Education, it will also have undergraduate and graduate degrees courses. A total of $2 million is invested in the project.

A contract was signed with Vatel, the largest French university in the world in the field of tourism management, in 2017.
