Herbia Suspends Export Due to High Demand on Georgian Market
One of the largest manufacturers of herbs in the country has suspended exporting products. The reason is the high demand of herbs in the Georgian market.
"The demand for herbs, vegetables and other products has increased and currently we are able to fully meet the needs of the Georgian market. However, we plan to increase production in the future and cooperate with any European country.
Until now our partner was Bulgaria, which had no strict criterias, meaning that we were not obliged to supply the product all year round, we only shipped in early spring and autumn. We hope to continue cooperating with them in the future as well.", noted the founder of the company, Zurab Janelidze.
According to him, the production of "Herbia" products has become more expensive, which has not yet been reflected in the selling prices, but in case of rising fuel prices and unstable conditions, prices will probably increase by 10-15%.
