Hauck to Close Down One of Its Stores in Tbilisi

The director of German company Hauck in Georgia, Malkhaz Samkharadze notes, that due to the harsh financial situation, the company had to close one of its stores in Tbilisi Mall.

According to him, now, Hauck is presented with one store located in the Saburtalo district.

As he explains, the company's sales are about 25-30% behind the pre-pandemic rate.

"Compared to 2019, the prices are higher due to the changes in Euro currency. We are trying our best to work on a rather low-profit margin."

For more than 90 years, Hauck has been producing a range of goods for children. The brand is presented in 50 countries and it entered Georgian market in 2007.
