Gov't Helps Small and Medium Restaurants in Tbilisi with GEL 5,000-10 000

The government is helping small and medium restaurant businesses in Tbilisi, namely with specific amount from GEL 5,000 to 10,000. 

As the Prime Minister stated at the government session, specific criteria have already been developed.

"The pandemic has affected almost every sector of the economy. The crisis has created particular problems for the tourism sector and catering establishments that depend on the flow of tourists. Subsidy program for small and medium-sized restaurant businesses in Tbilisi, financial assistance for facilities is set at GEL 5,000. If more than one restaurant is operated by one legal entity, co-financing will reach GEL 10,000.

Of course, the central government is ready to support this initiative of the City Hall," said the head of government.
