Government of Switzerland to Allocate $300,000 for an Agrarian School in Georgia

The government of Switzerland allocated an additional $300,000 to open an agrarian school "Caucasus" in Georgia. The information is published by the Swiss Embassy in Georgia.

According to the embassy, the school will be based on the 200-year experience of the famous Swiss agrarian school "Plantahof“.

The school will receive first students in the spring of 2021. Students and farmers will be trained in livestock, milk, and cheese production. 

Also, it is worth mentioning, that the investment price of the Caucasus school in Georgia was $3 million, which is received from the private sources of Switzerland and Georgia, including the Swiss South Caucasus Fund.
