Georgian Olive Soap will be for Sale from 2022
Production of Georgian olive soap has been postponed for one year.
The soap is manufactured by the company "Geolive", which will be sold under the brand "Qiziki".
According to the head of the company, Giorgi Svanidze, the reason for delaying the project is the pandemic.
Olive soap will be available in Agrohub from March of 2022. The product will be sold in the middle price segment. This year the company plans to process about 250 tons of olives.
Geolive is the first company in the country that introduced olive culture to Georgia. Olive processing plant equipped with modern technologies opened in the municipality of Sighnaghi, in the village - Sakobo in 2016.
Olive plantations of the company are cultivated on 300 hectares in Dedoplistskaro and Sighnaghi regions.
The total amount of investment is $5 million.
Currently, the company produces olive soap and olive oil.
