Georgian marketer Salome Imedashvili has become Amazon Senior Marketing Manager. More precisely, she leads the marketing of the company's Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program in Europe.
"I graduated from the Caucasus Business School (CSB) in 2012, then went on to study for a master's degree at TSU. While studying for a bachelor's degree at CSB, I started working for Bank Republic from the third year, then soon moved into the pharmaceutical business, and finally into technology. As a rated student at Caucasus University, I traveled to South Korea in 2010 on an exchange program.''
Salome has lived and worked in the UK since 2014. Technology marketing and e-commerce is her main direction.
"I moved from Emarsys, which was acquired by global tech giant SAP in 2020, from the position of UK Regional Marketing Manager to the position of Global Director of Customer Marketing, in five years."
She has since joined the Amazon team and today heads Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program marketing in Europe.
"My role is to establish this program in Europe and find new DSP partners in eight European markets. For my contribution to technology marketing, in 2020 the British government awarded me Global Talent status and recognized me as a Distinguished Talent in Marketing. This has allowed me to live in the UK for a long time and, most importantly, work with British tech companies to help them enter and establish themselves in the international market. ”
