Georgian Blueberries to Export to Germany and Netherlands
Blueberry manufacturer EFCO will export the production to the EU for the first time.
According to the company's project manager, approximately 3-4 containers will be sent to Germany and Netherlands until the end of the season.
"This is unprecedented because a car fully loaded with Georgian blueberries will leave for the EU for the first time. One car can hold eleven tons of blueberries. We are going to launch three or four cars, which is a great experience for us and for Georgian blueberry producers.", noted Rati Morchiladze.
The price of blueberries in EU countries is stable and the price of one kilogram reaches eight euros.
