Georgia has started exporting livestock and meat to Jordan.
According to the National Food Agency, 11,110 small and 350 large cattle have already been exported to Jordan this year.
According to the agency, meat was first exported from the country in 2021 to Jordan.
As Vasil Basiladze, Deputy Head of the National Food Agency mentioned, the Jordanian market is one of the most attractive ones and its opening is another confirmation of Georgia as an epizootically prosperous country and an additional incentive for the development of the livestock sector.
