Gemovani Starts Producing Bread in Regions with Decentralized Approach

Mzetamze, the producer of Gemovani, started producing bread in the regions with a decentralized approach, by reviving local abandoned bakeries.

The scheme is to purchase locally produced wheat, employ locals, and establish a tradition of bread made with natural yeast.

According to the partner of Synergy Capital, Maia Marjanidze, they already acquired several regions, including Guria, Samegrelo, and Kartli.

"We started looking for abandoned bakeries. The bread will be made with our personal technology. We have already launched one bakery in Ozurgeti, as well as in Martvili and Dmanisi. Sales have increased despite the epidemiological situation in the country."
