Food Alliance Plans to Export Production

French & Georgian frozen food factory, Food Alliance plans to export its production. 

According to the CEO of the company, Vakhtang Kokhreidze, negotiations are currently underway with Israel. Food Alliance is certified by food safety management system FSSC 22000, therefore it can export in any direction. 

"We started operating during the pandemic. We freeze Georgian and European baked goods, including croissants and khachapuri at -18 degrees and supply them to our partners - Carrefour, Europroduct, and Spar. The products are not sold under our brand yet, however we also plan to release our retail packaging.

Initially, we were going to work in Horeca sector, however, since it was suspended due to the pandemic, we switched to retail and started producing Georgian frozen products."

French-Georgian venture was started by Georgian and French partners. The main goal is to offer consumers French, European and Georgian high-quality deep-frozen pastry & bakery products. The factory currently employs up to 100 people. 80% of employees whom are refugees from Samachablo.
