Exporting Almonds to Europe - Plans of Adjara Group

Georgian Almond exports to Germany and other countries of Europe. 

As Valeri Chekheria, the chairman of the Board of Directors declared with BusinessPartner, a small crop of almond orchards cultivated in the village Udabno of the region of Kakheti, is already harvested. 

"We will get the full crop of almond orchards which are cultivated on 3,000 hectares of the territory in two years. We are not going to export almonds. Whereas the demand is high for the product in European countries, we plan to export almond milk and almond flour.", defined Valeri Chekheria.

According to him, the negotiations with export markets are already underway.

The total price of the investment is $20 million.
