Despite the War, Company Lazi Maintains Operations in Ukraine

The export of the tea "Lazi" was not suspended on the Ukrainian market amid to Russia's invasion. According to the head of the company, Goneri Salia, Ukraine was added to the exporting countries this year. 

"There is a war, but I sent products to Ukraine a few days ago. The tea of "Lazi" is taken and sold by Georgians living in Ukraine. Although it goes into small parties, it is still good for the company.", noted Goneri Salia.

The company produces tea in Tsalenjikha and sells its products mainly for export. According to the founder, as a result of the pandemic, exports were suspended for some time. However, currently, in addition to Ukraine, exports are made to China, Uzbekistan and Poland.
