CROSTY to Open Stores in Central Cities of All Countries
“Our goal is to open our stores in central cities of all countries and this is our strategic plan”, Giorgi Mikaia, co-founder of CROSTY sports footwear brand noted and added that despite the pandemic challenges the company had maintained the growing sales trend. Amid the pandemic, CROSTY has actively used online channels for sales purposes.
“Our sales have grown by nearly 400% over the past year and the new store has also contributed to this progress. Now, we maintain the positive dynamics and our sales grow by monthly 30%. The correct marketing campaigns have helped us overcome the pandemic challenges. At this stage, we supply products to only the domestic market. We ceased marketing campaigns in all other directions, including in the USA. Initially, we thought we could not sell our products with a high price policy on the Georgian market, but the reality turned out different”, the CROSTY co-founder noted.
As for future plans, by the end of 2021, we will decide where to open a new CROTSY store – in Europe or in the USA, he added. “We follow our strategic plan for opening stores in central cities of all countries. We will decide by the end of this year where to enter – Europe or the USA”, Giorgi Mikaia said. Currently, the company faces some problems with logistics, after CROSTY relocated its production line fully to Italy. Therefore, finished products are supplied from Italy to Georgia. The pandemic period has deteriorated logistics issues”, Giorgi Mikaia noted.
