Conference “Renewable Georgia 2022” Held in Georgia

The event is attended by the representatives of public and private sector, financial institutions, and different organizations in the field. It was organized by British company “The Voice of Renewables and  Georgian Renewable Energy Development Association (GREDA).

The conference aims at promoting renewable energy in Georgia.

The two-day conference envisages 8 panel discussions about the topics such as news in the renewable energy development policy and opening of the energy exchange; opportunities and challenges in the development of hydropower, solar and wind energy; integration of renewable energy in the electricity network; environmental management and social issues during the planning, construction and operation of hydropower plants; creating business opportunities for investors in order to implement energy projects, etc.

The conference was opened by the Chair of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, David Songhulashvili and Managing Director of Energy Solutions, Giorgi Abramishvili.
