CLAAS Celebrates Production of 500,000 Combines
The German company CLAAS, renowned for its innovative agricultural equipment, has produced half a million combines since 1936.
To celebrate this milestone, the company will unveil anniversary models of the Lexion, Trion, Evion, and Dominator series. These special editions will feature a unique design, blending visual elements from both classic and contemporary CLAAS models. The jubilee combines will be showcased at international agricultural machinery exhibitions in the coming weeks and months.
"500,000 CLAAS harvesters mean 500,000 success stories. Farmers and our contractors have trusted us 500,000 times. This achievement is significant for every CLAAS employee, as our team's dedication is behind this success," said CLAAS CEO Jean-Hendrik Mohr.
CLAAS began producing combines 88 years ago and has introduced numerous innovations, setting new standards in agricultural machinery production. The first CLAAS combine was launched in 1936, and ten years later, the company created the highly sought-after Super and Super Automatic series. In 1972, CLAAS introduced the Dominator, which became one of the world's most powerful combines. In 1995, CLAAS presented the Lexion 480 with innovative hybrid technology at the Agritechnica agricultural machinery exhibition, significantly advancing "precision agriculture."
A major milestone in CLAAS's history came in 2013 with the introduction of improved auxiliary tools for combines, including the electronic optimization system Cemos. Cemos automated agricultural processes, simplifying agro-work and earning numerous international awards.
The latest CLAAS combine, the Evion, builds on the legacy of its predecessors, Lexion and Trion, enhancing their unique features. Evion models are economical, comfortable, more powerful, durable, and equipped with improved software and a variety of functions.
For 18 years, CLAAS combines, tractors, and other auxiliary equipment have been available in Georgia. The company's official representative in the country is "Agrosphere," an importer of innovative agricultural products and equipment.
