Children's Entertainment Centers: We Resume Operation Only to Save Business

Children’s entertainment centers resumed work after a one-year pause. According to the association, after the pandemic, both consumer behavior and prices have changed.

"It is unfortunate the reality in which we woke up. After a year of struggle, we will resume work, but the demand is reduced and, unfortunately, we have to adjust the prices. Everything on the market has become more expensive, starting with utility bills and ending with food. If we could continue working, we would have to increase the price of the service by about 30%, ”explained Giorgi Mtiulishvili, head of the Association of Entertainment Centers.

In addition to expensive services, curfews and weekend work restrictions remain a problem for entertainment centers.

"Most of our customers have been planning parties during this time. There were times when a child had a birthday on weekdays, however because the parents were working the parties were held on weekends. Under these conditions, we expect an average load of 40%. With everything in mind, we are not going to focus on profit, we are working to save the business. We hope that the tenants will take into account the existing reality, "- explained Giorgi Mtiulishvili.

We would like to remind you that according to the decision of the government, from April 1, children's entertainment centers and cinemas will be able to resume compliance with the regulations.
