Chikatai" Handmade Toys Make their Way to Australia in Successful Export Deal

Georgian company "Chikatai" has achieved a major milestone by exporting its handmade toys to Australia.

Founder Tamar Buiglishvili revealed that the order of 550 units from seven different collections was placed by an Australian distribution company at the Playtime Paris international exhibition in January 2022.

The toys will be distributed in Melbourne and other Australian cities. The company is also planning to export its products to Italy later this year. While the local market can purchase the toys at the company's workshop-store or the Mon Chou concept store, importing certified raw materials from abroad is a challenge for the business.

The high state taxes for small businesses also hinder the company's growth. Despite these obstacles, "Chikatai" continues to innovate and make its mark in the global market.
