Black Sea Laurus Exports 12 Tons of Laurel Leaves to Ukraine

In Guria, in the village of Nigvziana, Lanchkhuti Municipality, the processing company of laurel and various medicinal plants "Black Sea Laurus" exported 12 tons of laurel leaves to Ukraine.

According to the representative of the company, Mikheil Melua, the season for laurel has just started and it is yet unknown how many tons of raw materials they will be able to process in total.

"Black Sea Laurus" processed 251 tons of laurels last year despite the pandemic, added a new technological line, and exported 30 tons of laurels to Ukraine.

The company buys raw materials from local farmers. The enterprise employs 24 people.
