Bartholet is a family enterprise, originally founded by Anton Bartholet. Under the leadership of his son, Roland Bartholet, the business extended its footprint on the international arena. Roland Bartholet personally introduced the company to Georgia. He shared with bm.ge that Georgia was chosen due to its striking resemblance to Switzerland.
"As a premier manufacturer of aerial cableways, Bartholet is committed to devising perfect solutions for urban and tourist transportation of people, goods, and materials. Our aim is to revolutionize urban transport in Georgia to tackle the persistent issue of traffic congestion. In many aspects, Georgia resembles Switzerland with its sparse population, making the adoption of technological innovation quite feasible. We also aim to bolster energy efficiency and green energy initiatives. We have found an excellent partner in Georgia, and perceive immense potential in the country and its vicinity, particularly for our new product, ROPETAXI," commented Roland Bartholet, the Chairman and CEO of Bartholet.
