The precise date of the opening of the new yacht club in Batumi will be announced soon, according to Giorgi Chikvaidze, the representative of Azimut Yachts' Georgian representative office.

"Recently, the trend of demand has increased. In direct proportion, the demand for infrastructures, such as yacht parking and marina, has grown. The decision has already been made, in just a few days the specific date will be announced when we will have a new yacht club in Batumi. This is very important because if the demand for a yacht is 10 from people, the demand for infrastructure is 50 people. It can be said that our sales of yachts have greatly accelerated the development of the industry both in terms of infrastructure and the overall industry.

In addition to the purchase of yachts, the demand for rentals is truly unprecedented. For example, we wanted to film a promotional video for our own company with the cruiser that our company rents, and there was not even a free space for 1 day until September 7,'' told Giorgi Chikvaidze to BPN. 

As for the prices, customers can rent a 2019 cruiser for 1 hour for 400 GEL. The yacht can accommodate 7 people, has a bedroom and is very comfortable for cruising.

According to him, 4 yachts were sold in Georgia this year. The price of boats and yachts sold in Georgia starts from 100,000 euros and exceeds one million. 

"Azimut Yachts" is an Italian yacht manufacturing company, which has a branch in Georgia since 2017. The company brings yachts assembled in Italy to Georgia and sells them.
